if you already started your blog then index blog posts in Google or other search engine is necessary to gain organic growth.
How to index blogpost in google step by step guide:
to index the blog post in google first to verify your domain in the search console let's do that.
#1.First to verify The domain of your website in the google search console:
Got to google search console and click on Add property
Then select property type, the URL prefix is recommended to add your website domain
then click on continue
then the google search console will say that Verify ownership for your domain.
then below in the Other verification methods tab select HTML tag and copy that code.
now you have to place that code into your website theme body, I use the blogger platform so I know how to add this code.
go to your a blogger and click on the theme then click edit HTML
press enter button and now place this code just below the HTML <head>
and click the save icon on the upper right side now your code is successfully saved
Now come back to the google search console and click on verify in the verify ownership tab.
that's it but this is just to verify your website with google search console.
the main step is still remaining which is your blog post to be indexed.
#2. How to index blog post in google:
this contains further two steps
1. Submit a sitemap to index all of your blog post automatically
Click on the sitemap on the left side in the google search console
than add a new sitemap
then enter sitemap URL, write Sitemap.xml
and then click on Submit
your sitemap is successfully added. Now you existing all your blog posts will be indexed successfully after some days but if they followed the webmaster guideline.
2. Index blog post in google using the URL Inspection tool
in you want to index your blog post and it appears in google search results then you have to use the URL inspection tool.
copy your blog post URL and paste it in the upper search bar and press the enter button on the keyboard now wait for the result
in the appeared screen click on request indexing and wait
it will say the URL is successfully added to the queen.
now, wait for it for a new website it takes up to one week to index your blog post, and for old websites, it takes up to 24 hrs.

here I verified the website in the google search console hosted by google blogger but the main theme is always the same for the WordPress websites too.
I personally recommend indexing blog post URLs using the URL inspection tool because it is a quick way to index blog post in google.
